NEW WORK: MARY J. BLIGE'S MY LIFE

When I moved to Los Angeles two years ago, I was determined to start building out a resume and portfolio of projects that fit the direction I was longing to go in. I never could have imagined that my first project would be about the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.

I don't think I've worked harder on anything I've worked on. There were a lot of long days and late nights, but it was worth it. Putting all of the stress and moments of frustration aside, my time on this project taught me a lot about what I'm capable of. It also solidified my need and desire to tell stories.
