SUNDAY SHORT: TAXI

I'm always amazed by the stories that can be told through dance. So for today's "Sunday Short," some movement.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I hit play on director/choreographer Celia Rowlson-Hall's short film, Taxi. As soon as those 80s vibes came in courtesy of Mas Ysa's “Service," I was in. The opening alone is my worst nightmare. I don't miss those few times I decided to take a cab only to end up getting stuck in traffic. I often found myself wondering if taking the subway (or even walking) would have been exponentially faster. Why is it that the only times I ever really got stuck in traffic (thinking about in NY, not LA) were on the days when I really couldn't afford to be late?
If you have a little over three minutes to spare, definitely check out Taxi below.
